Dear our friends in Spain,Romania and all over the world.
Weare happy to annouce that we have completed our Essential Guide for Teenage Visitors to Japan.
Class 2-10 started this project 3 weeks ago. We worked in 8 groups of 5 students.
First, each group chose one topic which we thought you teenaagers might be interested in Japan and Japanese culture. We focused on contemporary Japan as well as traditional Japan.
Then we made PowerPoint slides and wrote script. Each group made 8-minute presentation. After the conputer work, we worked on narrations and eye contact.
On November 4th , we had the presentation contest. We evalutated other groups' presentation and had fun.
Please enjoy our the Essential Guide for Teenage visitors to Japan.
Enjoy the beautiful picture of Mt. Fuji. People say "Mt.Fuji is beauiful from the distance." You can actually climb
mountain, but at the top, it is not clean. People with bad mannars throw away litters and garbages. This is sad.
We take a lot of information from our social studies class. Maybe too many figures and numbers! We are confused.
We think that "Religion" is difficult to research. Do you know most Japanese are non-believers, not Buddhists.
In Fukuoka city, the biggest events in summer is Yamakasa Festival. We took and located pictures for the festival.
There are a lot of festivals in Japan, but we introduce festivals in our area.
We focus on Japanese sweets. The teacher says, "too much sweets" but snacks and sweets are very important.
Do you agree? This is a good food guide for teenagers.
Are you interested in J-culture? We will introduce the most contemporary Japan, Japanese top singers, movie
stars, TV stars, fashions, popular commedians, Japanese comics, and animation films. We are proud of J culture.
The most important event for teenage girls is St. Valentine's Day on Feburuary 14th. We exchange chocolate and
present. Enjoy the details of the love exchange (or battle) day.
If you have 1 week to visit Japan, please include Tokyo (Japan's capital), Kyoto (Japan's ancient city with lots of temples
and shrines) , Hiroshima (Atomic bomb Musium) and of course, Fukuoka, our city.
